Hi, I'm Melody Balconi — the founder of The Finishing Touch. My journey into wedding coordination began in Sydney, Australia in 2017, where I discovered that the best gift you can give a couple on their wedding day is the freedom to actually be present in it.
As a wife and mom, I know firsthand how precious these milestones are, and how much love and invisible effort goes into making them feel effortless. That perspective is woven into everything I do.
What I love most about this work is getting to be part of one of the most meaningful days of a couple's life. Every wedding is different, and every couple is unique, but somewhere along the way, something special always happens: by the time the big day arrives, it truly feels like I'm showing up for friends. The connections I build with my clients are one of the greatest gifts this work has given me.
My role is beautifully simple: I step in so you can step back. From the moment we start working together, you can finally exhale, trusting that every detail is handled with intention, precision, and genuine care.
